Peppermint

Peppermint provides a family-friendly tour of international cuisine in a relaxed setting, while maintaining a farm-to-table approach. Beyond seafood staples such as tuna sashimi, shucked oysters and Boston lobster, its greatest strength lies in seasonal themes. These are comprehensive surveys of regional favourites ranging from Taiwanese to Thai. The latter, for example, was featured during our visit, with soft Thai-pop hits providing a casual backdrop for elevated street classics. Highlights included grilled skewers and a peppery kway chap loaded with wagyu, alongside yellow curry crab and a chicken rice dish packed with umami. Seasonal specialities are rounded off by favourites across various cuisines, from a comforting Penang noodle soup to a classic cacio e pepe. The bar next door offers a range of wines and cocktails, which compensates for the lack of self-service drink stations at the buffet.
