Studio City’s Pearl Dragon reinvents Cantonese cuisine with a subtle innovative touch, with a sensational artisanal tea selection for pairing and impressive service

Pearl Dragon is a breath of fresh air within the Studio City Macau complex. Residing on
one end of the gaming floor, overlooking the casino, guests nevertheless enjoy a realm of calmness and zen once they approach the establishment. The high ceilings, carpeted flooring matched with serene hues of light grey, jade green and chartreuse allow the crystal chandeliers to brighten up the expansive dining space. One must unwind over the floral welcome tea, which is followed by one delicacy after another selected from the a la carte menu. Pearl Dragon excels in not only Cantonese classics, but also on the innovation front, adding luxury ingredients such as foie gras, wagyu beef and superfoods such as quinoa and peach resin into its offerings. Staying on par with other examples of Chinese fine dining in Macau, the execution is remarkable and consistent, as is the rich array of artisanal teas. Featuring seasonal varieties and bespoke blends, they undergo proper brewing throughout the meal by experienced service staff, whose attentiveness and keenness to provide fine hospitality is in another league all on its own.
