From the team behind Masque restaurant comes Paradox, a bold cocktail lounge that serves a rule-breaking menu of technical pours and drinks on tap. Designed as a moody fusion of Art Deco elegance and whimsical fantasy, the space is a study in contrast, where an intimate, burlwood-led cocktail lounge on the first floor sits in opposition to the glowing open kitchen below. At the helm, head mixologist Ankush Gamre crafts a daring series of pours that challenges palates with inventive creations like the kimchi-laced 168 Hours and tequila-based Shipwreck with bonito flakes. Matching this unrestrained energy is head chef Varun Totlani’s boundary-pushing food line-up, featuring playful plates such as halloumi with poha (flattened rice), mud crab with crispy boondi (fried chickpea flour snack) and charred bone marrow served with thecha (a fiery condiment of chillies and garlic).
