The sizzling of steaks and mouthwatering, bone-in meats are an delightful treat for the senses
Tatler Says
Just a little distance away from the bustle of Orchard Road, the stylishly appointed Opus Bar & Grill is the place to go for that classic steak and lobster dinner. A generous appetiser, the crab cake features three large patties packed with fresh jumbo lump crab meat, mango ginger puree, toasted coconut, and pickled pineapple. Continuing on the seafood trail, a whole lobster is halved, grilled and served on paella, cherry tomatoes, nduja (a pork sausage spread) and lemon—making the creamy rice even more delicious. For an impressive main course, the grilled bourbon whiskey-aged Sanchoku tomahawk is cooked to medium rare perfection and served with the two accompanying sauces. A sweet ending to the meal, the deconstructed strawberry shortcake is a refreshing assemblage with lemon thyme-infused strawberries, citrus cheese cream, strawberry elderflower jelly, lime meringue stick and shortbread crumble.
