OpenHouse fills the void of places to showcase Malaysian food in a nice setting to friends from abroad.

OpenHouse fills the void of places to showcase Malaysian food in a nice setting to friends from abroad. The place is decked out stylishly with three different themes and some tables overlook the KLCC park which brings in lots of natural light during the day. The food is traditional but uses higher quality ingredients. Plated beautifully, the food is a feast for the eyes and tastebuds. One particular highlight is the Venison Rendang Minang, if only because it’s rare to enjoy this traditional Malay dish with deer meat! Also enjoyable was the Rendang Daging Tok, its meat lovely, fragrant and tender. We do wish, however, that the chef had elevated some of the other dishes, like the satay. Polite service makes the whole experience a wonderful one. There is also a bar at the corner of the restaurant to begin or end your meal.
