Nobu Singapore

This is the only place in Singapore where you can savour legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s famous black cod with miso. Marinated for three days in a special house-made hikari miso concoction, this dish led to the chef’s wildly successful partnership with Hollywood actor Robert De Niro. Various menus are on offer throughout the week, including omakase, teppanyaki omakase, a lunch bento and even a list of bar favourites. The Saturday brunch is particularly indulgent, as it’s a buffet spread showcasing the restaurant’s most popular Japanese-Peruvian creations. This includes the stunning yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño, the utterly tender F1 Japanese beef tobanyaki, and the crispy and succulent rock shrimp tempura drenched in a lightly spiced sauce. Also on the menu are some lesser-known but equally mind-blowing creations, such as Nobu’s signature cheesecake and the surprisingly gratifying pistachio cream puffs.
