Mr. Chew’s Chino Latino Bar

Fusion   |   Kuala Lumpur City Centre

The dishes here are modern fusion, with flavours both playful and memorable.

A great place for a fun time (think girls’ night out!), Mr. Chew’s food is delicious and playful, with a wide variety of cocktails to be paired with. The dishes here are modern fusion, with flavours both playful and memorable. The nori tacos are great little bites bursting with texture and are worth the visit here alone. Infusions of yuzu also greatly elevate the fish dishes. The wine section is limited but well-focused, with the restaurant focusing more on cocktails. Mr. Chew’s Daiquiri was a bit underwhelming but other choices, such as the Great Wall of Peru, are a treat, especially on a hot day. There are also a few interesting selections of alcohol bases such as rice-infused vodka. The overall space, which is located just before Fuego, lacks some privacy but this is made up with the floor to ceiling view of the Twin Towers. Attentive and knowledgeable staff really add to the whole dining experience.
