Ming Fu Restaurant
Ming Fu Restaurant serves elevated Taiwanese classics in a nostalgic, intimate setting, perfect for hearty, shared meals
Ming Fu Restaurant, established in 1976 by Lin Lichu and Lee Riming, is more than just a dining destination—it’s a sanctuary of warmth and nostalgia. Initially known for serving humble dishes like pork ribs rice and shacha hotpot, the restaurant continues to excel in elevated versions of homely favourites—signature dishes include abalone sticky rice chicken, stir-fried wild ferns and fried mullet tripe with garlic. With generous portions meant for sharing, Ming Fu is a go-to spot for gatherings, and its welcoming ambience makes each visit feel like you’re coming home. With over 40 years of history, master chef Ming’s expert craftsmanship shines through in every dish. Ming Fu has only six tables, so is always packed; bookings are essential if you want to experience this exceptional example of traditional Taiwanese cuisine.
