Previously located at Keong Saik Road, Meta Restaurant by South Korean chef Sun Kim has found a brand new home along the chic Mohamed Sultan Road. In this new spot, Kim continues to serve flavour-forward contemporary Korean dishes built upon his heritage, woven seamlessly with Japanese and Western techniques. Premium seasonal ingredients from around the world, especially South Korea, are beautifully crafted into delicious and well-balanced dishes in soulful and heartfelt ways. The meal starts with impressive snacks including reimagined seasonal gimbap. The reinterpretation of Korean seasonal mackerel hoe sashimi salad is a tasty and harmonious assemblage, while the signature Jeju abalone porridge, perfected over the years, remains a highlight. Service is warm and friendly yet efficient and detailed. The new location is a gorgeous realisation of Kim’s dream restaurant, a venue worthy of the incredible dishes and excellent service.
