A stylish contemporary German-inspired restaurant

If you’re a subscriber to the “camera eats first” philosophy, then your lens is in for a treat at Margo. Every detail has been chosen for maximum visual flair, from the pretty-in-pink interiors with gorgeous terrazzo surfaces to each precisely plated dish, with suitably striking tableware to match. Thankfully, the vibrant flavours live up to the aesthetics—and while the vibes might feel more chic bistro-cafe, dinner is a tasting menu-only affair. We’d recommend the more substantial eight-course option, with elegant dishes that pay tribute to chef Mario Paecke’s German roots—including technically impeccable highlights like flake-apart Dover sole with crispy skin and melt-in-your-mouth, beer-marinated Okinawan pork belly. The wine pairing is well-chosen, with a focus on the Alsace region.

Signature Dishes

  • Octopus terrine with roasted tomatoes & chive mayonnaise
  • Königsberger klopse
  • Alexandre polmard beef tartare

Tatler Tip

If you aren’t in the mood for wine, Margo also offers a cocktail pairing with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
