MAGURO Studio

Japanese culinary artistry featuring lively cutting show performances
With a ‘Contemporary Omakase’ concept, the interior space is designed like a traditional Japanese eatery, creating a cozy atmosphere with just enough room for 25 guests. Funky decorative details abound, such as graffiti-style bluefin tuna artwork with a strong street art vibe, and a bluefin tuna model, considered the restaurant's symbol. Of course, an indispensable element at any omakase restaurant is the open kitchen area, allowing chefs to interact directly with diners.
One of the unique highlights contributing to Maguro Studio's appeal is its cutting show performances. The bustling and lively atmosphere of a traditional Japanese seafood market is recreated right during the show. Customers can witness firsthand the process of cutting and preparing the fish, and enjoy fresh slices right at their table.
To truly appreciate the deliciousness of the fish, Maguro Studio encourages you to try the Maguro Zanmai Set, also known as tuna sashimi. This dish includes Akami, the inner loin, which is red meat with a firm texture and rich flavor. Next is the Chutoro, the medium fatty tuna belly, which is tender, fragrant, and moderately fatty. Finally, there's the Otoro, the prized fatty tuna belly, which makes up less than 20% of the fish's weight. The Otoro has a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, sweetness, and rich fattiness.
