Helmed by acclaimed chef Johanne Siy, Lolla prides itself in serving the most flavourful, multi-layered Mediterranean dishes in a relaxed industrial designed shophouse. The 13-seater counter offers front row access to a culinary showcase by chefs who whip up a less-is-more menu of power-packed dishes, including seasonal specials like crab relleno (stuffed crab) with aligue (crab fat paste) sauce and kaffir lime, and a seriously umami plate of burnt cabbage with crispy capers. Also splendid is the decadent sea urchin pudding and hand-torn pasta with brown crab that’s doused in a mouth-watering buttery sauce. The hearty Mayura Wagyu tri-tip is perfect for carnivorous palates, and goes incredibly well with the duck fat potatoes. The collection of desserts is just as focused, with five stellar options such as a cheese platter, crispy, fluffy doughnuts with lemon curd, and the must-have burnt cheesecake that’s guaranteed to please with its perfectly golden exterior and sweet, creamy, oozy centre.
