Located atop the Palais de Chine Hotel in Taipei, Le Palais is renowned for its refined Cantonese cuisine, meticulously prepared with the finest seasonal ingredients.
Led by Executive Chef Chan Wai Keung, the culinary team explores the authentic flavors of Hong Kong’s traditional gastronomy while preserving the essence of classic Cantonese cooking. By blending the culinary cultures and aesthetics of Taiwan and Hong Kong, Chef Chan presents delicate yet innovative interpretations of Cantonese dishes, each showcasing exquisite technique and harmony.
The name “Le Palais,” meaning “palace” in French, reflects both the restaurant’s regal dining atmosphere and its dedication to the finest ingredients — worthy of royal tables. Designed by acclaimed interior designer Chen Rui Xian, the space draws inspiration from the elegance of Chinese garden landscapes, creating a serene and graceful dining experience. The restaurant features 162 seats, including a dim sum area, semi-private sofa sections, and secluded private rooms.
