Le Du is renowned for its innovative take on Thai cuisine. Established by Chef Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn, it merges traditional Thai flavours with modern techniques, creating a unique dining experience. Le Du is the Thai word for “season”, reflecting the restaurant’s emphasis on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Chef Ton, who trained at the Culinary Institute of America and worked in the kitchens of esteemed restaurants, brings a refined yet approachable philosophy to his first venue. Dishes such as his signature khao chae (steamed rice soaked in cold floral water) and crab curry, show deep respect for Thai culinary heritage while incorporating international flair. The tasting menu often changes to reflect the availability of seasonal ingredients, ensuring regular diners enjoy a constantly evolving gastronomic journey.
