La Rambla

Spanish   |   $ $ $ $   |   Central, Hong Kong

A venue that captures the joy of Spanish hospitality with vibrant cooking and a room built for celebration

Set high above the harbour at IFC, La Rambla by Catalunya channels the spirit of Barcelona’s famously sociable dining culture: food designed for sharing, wine poured generously and a mood that encourages lingering. Executive chef Rafa Gil leads the kitchen with a menu featuring the likes of Segovian suckling pig, carved tableside before the plate is theatrically smashed, delivering crackling skin and melting meat. Other plates, such as anchovy butter toast, chorizo and lentil stew and a full-flavoured Rubia Gallega T-bone, show how Catalan cooking can move effortlessly between tapas-style indulgence and serious main courses. Inside, the design nods playfully to Antoni Gaudí, with colourful tiles, bold textures and contemporary artwork giving the dining room a distinctly Barcelona energy.
