La Pita quietly opened early in 2023, but its idle days were short-lived. Word of chef Sam Rohana’s flavoursome Middle Eastern dishes quickly spread throughout town, drawing foodies to the humble Poblacion eatery where guests are welcomed as family. From his pillowy pita to his delicious fermented chilli sauce, every detail is handled with the utmost care. The servings here are generous, and designed to be shared—but if you end up finishing a bowl of their hummus or baba ghanoush all on your own, you wouldn’t be the first.
