Café France introduces a new list of sandwiches with meat, chicken, shrimp, and pesto.
Easy-to-prepare and sumptuously filled, sandwich has been a popular choice in satisfying cravings and the need for quick bites. It dates back to the 1st century B.C. when the famous Jewish religious leader rabbi, Hillel the Elder placed a combination of chopped nuts, apples, spices, and wine between two matzahs. Eventually, meat and other ingredients were included in this simple dish during the Middle Ages when thick, coarse, stale breads were used as plate substitutes.
Now coffee shop-turned-restaurant Café France introduces a new list of gourmet sandwiches besides its present offerings of Smoked Norwegian Salmon with Lemon Mayo, Farmer’s Ham, Brie, and Raspberry, and French Dip Roast Beef. With authentic French taste achieved by using Grands Moulins de Paris (GMP) flour, Café France's sandwiches are on top quality.

Mandarin BBQ Beef and Rib Eye Steak
For the latest gourmet sandwich menu, Mandarin BBQ Beef features tender slices of brisket sweetened by barbecue citrus sauce and garnished with orange slices. The Rib Eye Steak sandwich includes sliced and baked rib eye steak drizzled with balsamic garlic sauce and paired with button and shiitake mushrooms, sauteed onions, fresh lettuce, and tomatoes.

Hickory Chicken and Oriental Baked Chicken
The Hickory Chicken has a barbecue sauce-covered lean and pulled chicken, topped with crunchy alfalfa sprouts. Meanwhile, the Oriental Baked Chicken has a sweet and spicy garlic sauce enhancing the taste of baked chicken fillet and omelet, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and mayonnaise spread.

Crispy Shrimp and No Meat
The crunchy beer-battered shrimp is combined with honey-mustard sauce, fresh tomatoes, and lettuce in the Crispy Shrimp. No Meat sandwich has delectable bread with pesto dressing and stuffed with grilled, seasoned white onions, green bell peppers, olive oil drenched eggplant and zucchini.
The new gourmet sandwiches are available in all branches of Café France.
