The all-day dining restaurant Heat brings diners to a new level of epicurean goodness as it makes a total revamp and introduces a new hotel dining concept.
The famed buffet destination in Ortigas district introduces eight new must-try dishes by EDSA Shangri-La patrons and guests, which were specially made by its eight new seasoned speciality chefs. In one gastronomic experience, diners are invited to savour these delightful culinary masterpieces showcased in the themed live interactive kitchens that feature the creative and traditional cooking styles and techniques of each chef.

EDSA Shangri-La Manila’s new executive chef Tobias Unger takes his German heritage to the table with this delectable cheese spätzle and curry sausage.

The executive sous chef Robert Cauchi brings diners the comforting flavours of his home recipe, stuffed baby squid prawns chowder.

Speaking of home dishes, the only female and Filipino chef, Roxanne Castillo, shares her interpretation of the Filipino favourite adobo by marinating prime rib with garlic York shire, and serving it with roasted Tagaytay vegetables and adobo beef jus.

Also, Heat reintroduces its international ateliers. First is its spread of Asian cuisine delights with the executive chinese chef Tony Sum’s coffee spareribs as its highlight.

Other dishes that hail unique Asian flavours is the chef Andy Liu’s curry seafood dimsum, signature maki and magic cube roll by the chef Yusuke Hino,

and the chef Fansihwar’s Indian dishes such as Tangdi kabab, Pomfret Tandoori, and Choley Bhaturey.

Heat saves the best for last with its raspberry molted brownie double shot vodka cheesecake with raspberry sauce by the pastry chef Martin Frowd.
Heat also offers several other sumptuous dishes for families and friends to partake in its Japanese, Indian, Wok, Roast, Carving, Grill, Dessert, Seafood, Salad, and Cold Cuts stations. The all-day dining restaurant has a seating capacity of 426 people, with two outdoor patios that offer garden and pool views, and four private rooms for exclusive dinners and lunches.
