Jiang by Chef Fei

Guangzhou, China

A modern shrine to Cantonese cuisine that marries tradition with refinement

Jiang is one of Guangzhou’s most coveted tables, and for good reason. Named after Huang Jing-hui (or chef Fei), one of China’s most accomplished culinary masters, the restaurant celebrates classic Cantonese techniques and recipes with premium seasonal ingredients. Dishes on the menu lean towards lightness, freshness and the unmistakable air of wok hei (the breath of wok) while incorporating regional elements from the Chaozhou and Guangdong provinces. Signature offerings include all the Cantonese staples: roasted meats, double-boiled soups, live seafood and dim sum, completed by an extensive cellared wine selection. The space reflects Chinese sophistication with dark wood panelling, jade accents, silk screens and opulent private suites designed for banquet-style dining.

Tatler Tip
