The sister outlet of Osaka’s oldest premium tempura restaurant (dating back to the 1850s), the culinary team expertly upholds time-honoured culinary traditions in each piece of tempura. Fresh ingredients such as live shrimp, scallop, squid, mushroom and asparagus are coated in Ippoh’s delicate Osaka-style batter and deep-fried in safflower oil. This ensures that the exterior remains light, allowing the ingredients’ natural qualities to shine through. Signature tempura dishes are complemented by seasonal starters and sashimi.
