Il Cielo

Set by the pool on level 24 of Voco Orchard, Il Cielo is somewhat of a rare find on Singapore’s busiest shopping street. On its menu of comforting contemporary Italian fare is the signature fritto misto, a selection of vegetables and seafood, lightly battered and fried to retain their natural umami and sweetness. Pasta lovers must check out the seafood options. Choose from wispy tagliolini or squid-ink angel hair, which is tossed with seasonal shellfish such as succulent crab-claw meat for a lip-smackingly briny carb-rich delight. The main courses are moreish and thoughtfully prepared, displaying a flair beyond regular bistro eats. As for dessert, the light and fragrant house-made tiramisu provides a satisfying finish to the meal.
