Acclaimed Chinese executive chef Ku Keung helms this exquisite Michelin restaurant at Conrad Centennial Singapore

Upon entering Golden Peony, you’re immediately welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The well-spaced tables and soothing ambience create the perfect setting for a superb meal. The service is exceptionally approachable, with the staff operating like a well-oiled machine, ensuring every need is met with impressive attentiveness. While the menu features many familiar dishes, it’s the execution that sets them apart. A highlight of the dinner is the baby spinach and the sweet and sour pork. Though these are staples in many Chinese restaurants, Golden Peony’s versions are expertly prepared and paired beautifully with jasmine rice. The mango in sweet and sour pork is a particularly inspired touch, adding a lovely sweetness. The wine list is well-curated, offering a variety of wines by the glass and the bottle—all at fair prices. The tea menu is a fantastic alternative, and a more prominent focus on it would be a welcome addition.
