Indulge in Italian gastronomy at this Mediterranean-inspired steakhouse

The sister restaurant to il Lido Group’s one-Michelin-starred Art by Daniele de Sperindio, Gemma is an Italian steakhouse paying ode to old-world sensibilities with a contemporary spin. From gueridon services of cocktails and steak carving to its red, gold, and marble interiors, Gemma is ready to jostle for a spot amongst Singapore’s very best steakhouses. The classic T-bone Fiorentina steak is Gemma's pride and joy; dry-aged over a period of 30 days and grilled over sherry barrel wood within a surreptitiously placed Josper oven. Charred to perfection and served simply with an unctuous bone marrow jus with a light whipped mustard, the steak truly shines here. No good steakhouse is complete without its wine, and Gemma boasts an extensive list of both old and new world varietals. The barolo’s (Giacomo Fenocchio 2019) tart and tannic body make for an excellent partner to the steak’s bold and robust flavours.
