Fook Lam Moon

A luxury, upscale Cantonese restaurant revamped with an increase of technique-driven Chinese dishes that are well-executed

The luxury Cantonese restaurant was recently revamped with a new direction, shifting from its former upscale concept to offer a larger range of Cantonese dishes, from live seafood to technique-driven vintage classics. The menu, as a result, incorporates a greater variety of options—from Peking duck to seasonal courses. The interior design remains classic, with an abundance of luxurious golden elements weaving throughout the brightly-lit dining room, which is square with tables evenly spaced out, separated away from the private dining rooms available for larger parties at the other end of the dining space. Fook Lam Moon classics such as live and dried seafood dishes requiring advanced preparations remain on the new menu, but the new additions include many premium ingredients such as wagyu and Kurobuta pork from Japan and ducks from Ireland. Food standard is high, and wine service is keen but the variety of labels offered will need improvement. The service team is helpful most of the time with keen efforts to check on one’s meal progress.
