Dudu Yummy

Dudu Yummy is a hawker centre that’s a favourite spot for locals, many come early to get their noodle dishes before they’re sold out by midday. Crowd favourites include the Ipoh Hor Fun, Assam Laksa, and Kuey Teow Thng (Kuey Teow Soup).
Other offerings include kuih, and other typical kopitiam fare such as curry noodles, char kuey teow, and more.

Obvi Pizza
Relatively new on the block, Obvi Pizza comes from the same team behind Mokky’s Pizza. Whether you’re there for a classic Margherita or The Phoenix with duck breast and chilli mango sauce, this relaxed spot is great for a catch up session with your pals.
On special occasions, find kitchen takeovers with guest chefs to spice things up.

Jatujak

A go-to spot for Thai food for people across town, Jatujak has the classic Thai offerings done authentically. Their Pandan fried chicken, pineapple fried rice, and other classic favourites are juicy and bursting with flavour, with great drink and dessert options.

Khao Man Gai
The sister restaurant to Jatujak, Khao Man Gai is a humble spot that serves a small menu, but incredibly well. Flying off the menu is their chicken rice or porridge, and their lava creamy egg rice with the option to switch up your protein, stir-fried with Thai basil.
Other popular side dishes include their fried chicken skin, chicken feet, and stir fried kangkung.

MiMi Korean Restaurant

Definitely a hidden gem, MiMi Korean Restaurant is a cosy spot serving up Korean classics such as their army stew and barbecued meats.
A great rotating array of side dishes, and fantastic homemade kimchi, it’s definitely worth the visit. Other dishes also include kimchi pancakes, bibimbap, and japchae.

Wartek
The best part about nasi padang is the wide array of dishes, or lauk pauk, and Wartek does it well. Bright and airy in its interior, Wartek is a great, homely spot for Indonesian delights. Unmissable dishes would be their bebek goreng, gado gado, and soto Betawi.

Bijou Cafe
Bijou Cafe is a multipurpose space boasting a huge influx of natural light and cute furniture pieces, decorated in a way that is reminiscent of a funky loft apartment (owned by someone with impeccable taste).
Opening until midnight, this place is the perfect day-to-night spot, whether for a coffee, or a fun drink in the evenings. It’s never boring in Bijou, with live performances by artists and DJ sets, and many other fun pop ups.
