For many, Deepavali is synonymous with generous spreads and shared meals, but celebrating does not have to include toiling over a hot stove—as much as that is a symbol of love. Inside The Exchange TRX, you can find every type of meal ready to cater to all your festive needs, from family dinners to grab-and-go treats.
For Sri Lankan flavours, Café Colombo brings out the spice that spotlights the island’s heritage. You cannot miss out on the Sri Lankan Fish Head Curry, featuring fresh local snapper head that has been simmered in your choice of curry. Have this with tempered yellow rice or basmati rice to accentuate the experience. Other highlights from the South Coast menu include the iconic Sri Lankan street food, Kottu, that has been tossed with melted cheese, or the Arugam Bay Prawn Curry, with prawns fit for a king. Get your hands dirty as well with its Southern Crab Curry.

For those with a sweeter tooth, Godiva has their special promotions happening until 10 November 2026, and this is the best time to take advantage of these specials. Their Mix & Match offer allows you to select three self-treat items for RM99, or refresh your palate with their beloved soft serve, where you get RM5 off from Monday to Thursday by simply presenting any brown-coloured item. To spread the love, gift some of their exclusive Diwali chocolate boxes or curated Diwali hampers, starting from RM199.
A good coffee is second to none, and the perfect mid-shopping refreshment. Bacha Coffee makes that easy with their takeaway coffee counter, offering their single-origin Monsoon Secret Coffee, and whilst you’re at it, it’s only right to get the takeaway box of assorted croissants.

The Exchange TRX rewards you whenever you spend, and for Deepavali only, they are offering an exclusive gift set of glass jars. Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM1,500 in a maximum of two receipts on the same day can redeem a beautifully crafted Divinity of Deepavali Glass Jar Set. This is a limited-edition keepsake that can be claimed at Urban Node on the Ground Floor.
Beyond dining and shopping, The Exchange TRX is a one-stop shop that also includes cultural immersion. Intricate and colourful festive kolam displays are dotted throughout the mall on City Avenue and Park Avenue on Ground Floor. Every weekend and on the Deepavali public holiday, there will be traditional dance performances at 2:00pm and 5:00pm for your mid-shopping entertainment.
Visitors can witness dynamic repertoires spanning Semi-Bharatanatyam, Peacock Dance, Oyilattam, Thadiyaras, Odissi, and Kathak, bringing timeless Indian performing arts directly into the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
