The Tokyo ramen eatery’s first Singapore outlet is located in Plaza Singapura
From chewy noodles to umami-filled broth, ramen is one of the most popular comfort foods in Japan. It’s no different here in Singapore as we constantly see new ramen joints opening around the island, with snaking queues as hungry locals are constantly on the lookout for hearty bowls of noodles.
With our love for this bowl of goodness, it’s no surprise that numerous popular ramen joints from overseas have decided to open international outlets here—the latest being Nakiryu. A familiar name to ramen aficionados, Nakiryu is a one-Michelin-star ramen joint from Tokyo, Japan.
Chef Kazamusa Saito opened the first outlet in 2012, and it quickly became popular for its dan dan noodles and shoyu ramen. In 2017, the beloved joint was awarded one Michelin star and has held it ever since.
If you can’t wait to queue for its ramen, here are some to look out for on the menu.
