The Japanese establishment at Hotel Okura Macau presents the versatile bivalves in its various forms
Enjoyed throughout the world for their richness and high nutritional proteins such as glycogen, amino acids and minerals with the likes of calcium and zinc, oysters are also a versatile ingredient in Japanese cuisine, with various preparations from raw to steamed, grilled to deep-fried. From now until April 30, Yamazato at Macau’s Hotel Okura is importing these creamy bivalves from Higata Bijin of Nakasu, Oita prefecture. With tidal flats as their natural habitat, these oysters are celebrated for their large size and sweetness with a briny flavour. These seasonal oysters are available at Yamazato at MOP 158 for three pieces during the promotional period.
