At every leg of his first-ever solo fan concert Bloom, Exo vocalist Doh Kyung-soo holds a segment where he chats with fans about the food he has tried in each country he visits. When it came to his stop in Singapore, Kyung-soo shared about digging into a plate of half-boiled eggs. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to identify the establishment as China Street’s Ya Kun Kaya Toast. The addictive dish practically dictates a visit to the country–you can’t say you’ve been to Singapore unless you’ve had it. South Korean boy group The Boyz were quick to mark their trip by posting a picture of the black pepper crab at Long Beach Dempsey, along with other items from the menu.

The Blackpink star caused quite a stir when spotted at The Seagrill at Changi Beach after the group’s first show in Singapore for the Born Pink world tour. Her fans were quick to find out that the restaurant’s head chef was none other than Lisa’s uncle, chef Kurt. The charming bistro bar is a short away from Changi Village and serves up some of the island’s freshest seafood, including grilled king prawns, baked scallops, and octopus.
Hanni at Privé Jewel
Situated at the centre of tourism, there’s no doubt that Jewel Changi Airport has seen its fair share of famous idols. Hanni of NewJeans paid Privé Jewel a visit with her family when they stopped by Singapore. Sharing her meal with fans on “About Jeans”, the group’s YouTube vlog series, the star enjoyed several drinks with her family, including a banana berry smoothie.
Rain at Keng Eng Kee Seafood
Keng Eng Kee Seafood at Alexandra Village saw the charismatic Rain when he visited Singapore for the two-day K-pop music festival Waterbomb Singapore. The zi char restaurant is currently run by its third-generation owners and does some great dishes like coffee pork ribs and an exemplary chilli crab. A famous haunt among South Korean tourists, the restaurant has been featured in Netflix’s Street Food: Asia “Singapore”.
