The award-winning Guo Fu Lou will be the hotel's flagship Chinese restaurant when it opens at the end of 2017

In a bid to highlight the strength of its ties to Hong Kong, the team behind The Murray—a Niccolo Hotel situated on Garden Road—recently announced a partnership with Fook Lam Moon Group to open Guo Fu Lou at the property, which will launch at the end of 2017.  The exclusive collaboration means that the luxury hotel will be the only venue in Hong Kong to present the iconic Cantonese offerings from Guo Fu Lou, in a 90-seat restaurant designed by André Fu of AFSO.

The restaurant will be situated within a two-storey pavilion facing Champion Tower, adjacent to Cotton Tree Drive, and will boast an additional 48 seats on the outdoor terrace. Foster + Partners, the British design studio taking charge of The Murray's renovation, have kept a magnificent heritage tree in the courtyard which will act as a focal point for guests dining alfresco. Diners can expect Guo Fu Lou's signatures on the menu—elegantly executed Cantonese classics such as steamed crab claw with egg white in huadiao wine, or fresh abalone with premium soya sauce.

The Murray is set to open at the end of the year and will also feature a rooftop bar and restaurant, an international restaurant, a tea lounge, and a lobby level bar.
