The Chinese restaurant at The Langham Hong Kong serves sustainable a la carte options and a special prix fixe menu
T’ang Court, the Cantonese restaurant within The Langham Hong Kong is introducing a new six-course set lunch menu and vegetarian a la carte options, prepared with locally-sourced ingredients Notable dishes from the selections include:
-Stuffed tomato with stir-fried mixed mushrooms, fungus, and black truffle in pumpkin soup
- Glutinous dumplings filled with guava and coconut served with chilled guava jelly
- Sauteed macadamia nuts, water chestnuts and mushrooms in a taro nest
- Double boiled soup with bamboo fungus, Chinese cabbage and Japanese cep mushrooms
On the topic of sustainable conversation, the dining establishment will also introduce environmentally conscious garments for their staff uniforms. The new uniforms are designed by emerging fashion designer Victor Chu, who also won the 1st runner up at this year’s EcoChic Design Award. The new minimal waste uniforms will also incorporate fabric cutouts into collars and pockets for jackets.
The six-course set lunch menu is available for lunch from Monday to Fridays, and it is priced at HK$280 per person.
