Gray Kunz refreshes his menu for summer at Admiralty’s Upper House
Perched on the 49th floor of the Upper House hotel in Admiralty, Café Gray Deluxe offers what are possibly the best harbour views on Hong Kong Island. With chef Gray Kunz at the helm, the restaurant serves modern European cuisine with an Asian touch that lives up to the standards set by its spectacular views. Not keen to rest on its laurels, the chef is launching a series of summer menus for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. The new all-day menu emphasises seasonal fruits and vegetables while the dinner menu is heavy on fresh seafood and steaks. For breakfast and tea, there is a new bakery and pastry selection as well as sweet treats like banana chocolate chip pancakes with maple butter and Chinese walnut vanilla cookies and palmiers. The highlights of these new menus include:
- passion fruit and vodka-cured yellow tail
- chilled soup of cucumbers and tapioca with smoked salmon
- summer lobster cobb salad
- slow-cooked wild king salmon with salsa verde
- banana chocolate chip pancakes with maple butter
- strawberry nutella Belgian waffles
