A food and wine journey through Spain’s Rioja region in Sai Wan Ho
Plan a mid-week break with Spanish food and wine at Tapeo in Sai Wan Ho. On September 11, the Spanish tapas restaurant will showcase a five-course menu with five pairings from Baron De Ley, a fast-growing Spanish winery in the Rioja region. Highlights from the menu include:
- Foie gras terrina, fino sherry gelee, paired with a 2011 Rioja Blanco
- Cod, Iberian ham with citrus basil dressing, paired with a 2007 Reserva
- Chilli and garlic Iberian pork with green olive salsa, paired with a 2004 Gran Reserva
- Moorish spiced rib-eye with valdeon cream, paired with a 2005 7 Vinas Reserva
The wine dinner is priced at HK$600 per person.
