South Korea’s largest fried chicken chain will open at Marina Square on April 26

If you’ve been craving crispy Korean fried chicken since your last trip to Seoul, you’re in luck. BHC Chicken, the largest and most popular fried chicken chain in South Korea, is heading to Singapore in a highly anticipated opening on April 26—its fourth overseas concept after opening one in Malaysia and two in Hong Kong.

At BHC Chicken, which stands for ‘better and happier choice’, the first thing you’ll notice is its vivid yellow store façade, setting the stage for a convivial and joyful atmosphere. Its open space, 108-seater dining area and retro-chic oriental interior design creates a chill and relaxed vibe, making this the perfect place to kick back with your friends, eat good food, and drink beer.

Here, you’ll be able to indulge in a plethora of chicken flavours and preparation styles that have enthralled both South Korean customers and celebrities, with endorsements from Big Bang’s Daesung and Jeon Ji Hyun, who famously played a chicken-loving character in My Love From Another Star. Signatures like the Bburinkle chicken will be on offer, which will pack a savoury punch with its garlic, onion and cheese coating. The Gold King will delight as well, which has a juicy and crispy batter thanks to its soy sauce, honey and garlic glaze. Don’t forget the Macho King either, which is also generously drenched with an aged soy sauce and a honey-based oriental sauce.

Fried chicken is not the only thing on the menu, making sure that you can have a diverse feast. There are a variety of other popular side dishes like the Bburing cheese sticks, which are crispy mozzarella sticks coated with BHC’s signature Bburinkle seasoning, or the sotteok, a classic Korean snack of skewered rice cakes and chicken sausages that will take you back to the streets of Seoul. If you’re looking for more wholesome Korean fare, you need not look further than BHC Chicken either, which offers Korean staples like kimchi fried rice, tteokbokki (rice cakes), and even a soothing samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup).
