The ceremony and gala dinner will present a six-course menu celebrating Singapore’s diverse and multicultural dining scene

Food lovers will be glad to know that the Michelin Guide Singapore’s Star Revelation and Gala dinner has returned after a two-year break. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the ceremony was skipped in 2020 and taken online in 2021. This year, the dinner will take place on July 12 at Marina Bay Sands and will celebrate the achievements of Singaporean chefs locally and abroad.

The 2022 Star Revelation and Gala dinner will feature an exquisite six-course dinner, created by two international chefs based in Singapore (Tristin Farmer from three-Michelin-starred Zén and Tetsuya Wakuda from two-Michelin-starred Waku Ghin) and four Singaporean chefs based overseas. The latter chefs include Mathew Leong from two-Michelin-starred Re-Naa in Norway; Jimmy Lim from two-Michelin-starred JL Studio in Taichung; Barry Quek from one-Michelin-starred Whey in Hong Kong; and Angela Lai from two-Michelin-starred Taïrroir in Taipei. Themed ‘Singapore Celebrated’, the feast will pay tribute to Singaporean cuisine and its indelible culinary influences.

Ahead of its event, Michelin Guide Singapore’s Bib Gourmand 2022 list of “good quality, good value cooking” restaurants will also be released a week prior.
