When Japanese fine dining meets with Edo-style sake at The Peninsula Hotel

The Peninsula's newly opened Japanese restaurant, Kushiro, will have a crossover with Tokyo Port Brewery to form the first Japanese sake pairing dinner on December 29, 2021, from 7pm to 10pm.

Since the grand opening of Kushiro in mid-September, it has been well received by guests for its penchant in combining Japanese omakase with French fine dining, ushering in a new era of fusion gastronomy. The restaurant’s reservations are already full for this year.

Tokyo Port Brewery is a four-story building located in Shiba-ku in central Tokyo. It brews a series of Edo Kaijo-style sake with a rich fruity aroma and pleasant acidity. The sake brewery has a history of using different yeasts and rice varieties to make new styles of sake that cater to the drinking culture of Tokyo's bustling downtown.

Kushiro will release a new winter menu, featuring Hokkaido hairy crab, Senpoushi oyster, Hokkaido Bafun sea urchin, and grilled amadai as the freshest seasonal ingredients. This is accompanied by the finest selection of Japanese sake from Tokyo Port Brewery, resulting in an unparalleled combination that offers guests an exquisite experience of fine delicacies.

The Kushiro x Tokyo Port Brewery sake pairing dinner is priced at HK$3,760 per person plus 10% service charge. Book today by calling +852 2957 8838 or via WhatsApp at +852 6202 6666.
