Renown Japanese sweets and pastries make their debut at the new Isetan Jurong East @ Westgate.

If you’ve always loved the delicate flavours of Japanese sweets and pastries, you’d be glad to know that the new Isetan Jurong East @ Westgate is showcasing an impressive selection of delicacies, available from now until 23 March, Sunday. There are more than a dozen confectionery treats from all over Japan to be had – some of which have never been sold here before.

Here are some luscious bites that caught our attention:
  • Sadaharo Aoki’s macarons. The famed Japanese dessert master who has stores in Paris, Tokyo and Taipei conceives exquisite pastries with distinctive Japanese flavours.  If you’re craving for some of the best macarons from Tokyo (or the world for that matter), this is your chance.
  • Morihan from Kyoto introduces its delicate matcha pudding and crisp matcha cookies made from premium green tea.
  • Tsujirihei Honten from Kyoto offers chocolate woven with Uji matcha (usually used in the production of bitter green tea), fresh cream, rich white chocolate and a dash of Japanese sake.
  • Creamy Milkissimo gelato made from permium milk produced near Hakodate city and other fresh ingredients from Hokkaido (this will be available till 2 June).

Available at Isetan Jurong East @ Westgate, Supermarket Level B2, from now till 23 March. Fri & Sat 10am – 930pm, Sun 10am – 8pm
