Four stars, four hands
Two-Michelin-starred restaurant Arbor is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a special collaboration with La Cime, a fellow two-starred restaurant from Osaka. For the first time since 2019, chefs Yusuke Takada of La Cime and Eric Räty of Arbor are reuniting to curate a unique four-hands menu, showcasing their expertise in Nordic, French, and Japanese cuisines. This exclusive event will take place on December 11 for dinner and 12 December for both lunch and dinner. The meticulously crafted menu, priced at HK$3,888 for dinner with limited availability, and HK$1,088 for lunch, will reflect the chefs’ shared passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and their mastery in culinary innovation. An additional wine pairing option is available for HK$1,500. Reservations are now open for this highly anticipated culinary showcase at Arbor.

Morton’s The Steakhouse is commemorating its 45th anniversary with a “Best Steak Anywhere” menu, available now until December 23. This celebratory offering showcases four exceptional prime cuts from global producers. The menu features two premium Wagyu cuts: the Rangers Valley Wagyu ribeye from Australia, a 14oz steak priced at HK$978, known for its rich marbling and buttery flavour, and the 6oz Japanese A5 Wagyu filet mignon at HK$978, praised for its delicate marbling and unparalleled tenderness. Additionally, the menu includes two impressive sharing options: The ’Hawk, a 36oz tomahawk steak priced at HK$1,978, noted for its richness and perfect tenderness, and the 36oz 45-day dry-aged porterhouse at HK$1,845, offering a unique blend of flavours from a combined tenderloin and strip steak. This special anniversary menu can be enjoyed alongside Morton’s classic a la carte selections and a diverse range of traditional and contemporary cocktails and wines.

Known for its Canadian and American-inspired sushi rolls, Chotto Maki is introducing a novel culinary creation to Hong Kong: the Sushi Pizza. Drawing inspiration from the inventive sushi concepts trending on social media, Chotto Maki has reimagined the classic Italian dish with a little Japanese-style twist. Three options—the Sea Lover, Canadian, and Tuna N’ Cream—are available at HK$58 per slice or HK$378 for a whole 12-inch pizza (eight slices) and HK$398 for a half-and-half combination (also eight slices). The Sea Lover features chopped scallops, fresh salmon sashimi, edamame, and a special house sauce; the Canadian is made with imitation crabmeat, fresh tuna sashimi, yellow pickles, and spicy mayo; and the Tuna N’ Cream combines chopped tuna, cream cheese, tamago, and truffle mayo.

The Astor at Eaton HK has unveiled The Great Cheese Feast afternoon tea buffet which will run from December 9, 2023, onwards. Available on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, this cheese-centric buffet offers an expansive array of dishes that celebrate the versatility and richness of cheese. Priced at HK$298 per person, the experience begins with a signature cheese fondue, accompanied by a variety of dippers including salami, ham, frankfurters, and pretzels. The buffet also features a diverse selection of savoury items like Philly cheesesteak pizza, butternut and cheese quiche, and chicken cordon bleu, as well as a fresh carving station with chuck rolls and roast porchetta drenched in cheese sauce. Cheese purists will be just as delighted with the cheese selection which includes six varieties such as brie, emmental, and camembert. For dessert, options range from green tea cheesecake, jumbo tiramisu and cheesy mochi balls. Enhancing the afternoon tea experience are special drinks including the floral Four Season Tea and the refreshing Virgin Apple Mojito.
