High tea at Café Gray Deluxe
Anyone who's been to Café Gray Deluxe knows that you've got to made room for dessert at Gray Kunz is a genius when it comes to making excellent classic pastries as well as more creative sweet post-meal treats. So expect high with the restaurant now introducing a classic afternoon tea menu. This timeless tradition is taken to great heights by being offering in this gorgeous setting offering jaw dropping Victoria Harbour views perched on the 47th floor of the new Upper House hotel in Admiralty.
Tea choices include the classics such as Darjeeling, Crown blend and Earl Grey. For a caffeine-free brew, there's flavoured green tea, herbal Egyptian chamomile, fresh mint, Chinese oolong or jasmine, and flower blends such as rose. Other hot beverages are also available such as Valrhona hot chocolate and fresh juices.
From Café Gray Deluxe's new a la carte bakery and pastry menu are all classic high tea favourites are featured here and presented on multi-tiered trays, such as finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and also served with home-made preserves and jams. Other specialties on the menu: lemon curd tartlette, pistachio ‘opera cake,' chocolate-caramel candy bar, caramelized mille-feuille, blackcurrant scones and more. There's also cookie jars packed with homemade cookies. Priced at HK$185 or HK$345 for two, served daily from 3.30pom-5.30pm.
