Gaggan in Bangkok tops the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list again this year, after winning the top spot last year as well.

Gaggan in Bangkok does it again.

The restaurant, which topped the list of Asia’s 50 best Restaurants last year, has been presented the number one spot once again in an awards ceremony held at W Hotel, Bangkok. 

The awards ceremony, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna and is in its 4th year running, welcomed 10 new entries this year. Thirteen nations are represented this year making 2016’s list the most diverse one yet with restaurants from more countries than before.

Gaggan, founded by eponymous Chef Gaggan Anand in 2010, serves a reinvigorated menu of Indian cuisine by incorporating a modernist cooking technique.
