La Brasserie at Le Méridien Jakarta elevates the weekend buffet with Japanese delicacies, Middle Eastern mezze, and tableside seafood delicacies.

Finding a weekend plan that satisfies everyone in the family often feels like a balancing act, yet the finest Saturdays are those spent sharing brilliant food in great company. At La Brasserie, the all-day dining destination within Le Méridien Jakarta, a newly launched weekend concept is changing how the city approaches the afternoon feast.

Named Le Brunch, this limited-time experience at Le Méridien Jakarta moves far beyond the standard buffet, transforming lunch into a fluid, convivial adventure across the globe.

What sets the spread apart is not merely its generosity, but the distinct craftsmanship guiding each station. Rather than a single team managing the entire room, every culinary corner is led by a specialist chef whose background is rooted in that specific tradition. The Indian and Middle Eastern selections are shaped by chefs originally from India and Lebanon, the Japanese corner draws on years of experience in Japan, while the Nusantara and Western stations are handled by experts with deep roots in their respective heritages.

The undisputed centrepiece of the afternoon is the Lobster Thermidor. As guests unwind, a dedicated cart makes its way through the dining room, stopping at each table so the dish can be gratinéed live with a torch right before your eyes. It is a deliberate, theatrical touch that elevates the meal into an occasion.

From there, the journey flows naturally across borders. Guests can wander to the Japanese corner for Truffle Nikudon—slow-braised beef over rice with an omega egg—or sample rich, unhurried Butter Chicken from Handi. Al Nafoura provides a clean counterpoint with a sharp pomegranate-dressed Fattoush salad, alongside a live Dajaj Shawarma carving station.

The culinary theater continues with live shows throughout the afternoon, from Salmon Nigiri Aburi served directly by the chef to freshly assembled Dahi Puri. With a live band setting a relaxed pace and dedicated children’s activities keeping the younger ones fully occupied, parents can genuinely savour the moment. Perfectly positioned on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman near TransJakarta Karet and MRT Bendungan Hilir, Le Méridien Jakarta is a dining destination for any occasion.
