Witty British comedians from The Punchline Comedy Club will be taking stage at Duetto restaurant in Wan Chai on November 6-7. Tickets are HK$320
Comedy Night at Duetto
Viceroy was the place to go for comedy nights, especially the Whose Line is it Anyway gigs that made this Indian venue particularly popular. Now that the establishment has joined up with neighbouring Milano restaurant to become Duetto, fortunately this revamped venue continues to be a platform for laught-out-loud entertainers. In November, The Punchline Comedy Club will be presenting a strong line up of veteran British funnymen, from John Moorhead, Dougie Dunlop, David Hadingham and John Fothergill, entertainers well received in the UK comedy circuit. The performance is also in association with Variety- The Children's Charity, to auction off bachelors for a good cause. The audience also has a chance to win prizes from the lucky draw, such as helicopter rides via the Peninsula Hotel's own choppers, to free tickets to the Whose Line is it Anyway gig in January 2010.
The show starts at 9pm but come before to indulge in Duetto's Italian and Indian buffet spread at HK$130 per person. Happy hour drinks also start from 6pm-7pm.
Tickets are available online at www.cityline.com.hk or call +852 2317-6666. Otherwise go to Duetto, 2/F, Sung Hung Kai Centre, 30 Harbour Road, Wan Chai.
