The wildly popular American fast-food chain will officially debut its first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Singapore’s Bugis+ on December 11
The chicken sandwich revolution is finally arriving in Singapore and this time, it is here to stay. Chick-fil-A is finally arriving on our shores on December 11, 2025.
Its first franchised restaurant in Asia will be located at Bugis+ in Singapore. Their grand opening marks a milestone in the international expansion of the Chick-fil-A brand and the start of the company’s 10-year, US$75 million investment in the region.
For the uninitiated, Chick-fil-A is a wildly popular quick-service fast-food restaurant chain in the United States that has captured the hearts—and stomachs—of millions. After a brief three-day pop-up in June 2024, it announced last October 2024 its grand entrance into Asia with the opening of its first restaurant in Singapore.
On why Singapore as the first Asian stop, Anita Costello, chief international officer of Chick-fil-A, shared: “The profound love that Singaporeans have for food as well as the city’s strategic position as a gateway to the Asian market make it the ideal choice for our first permanent restaurant in the region.”
And rightfully so, as with the addition, Singapore primes itself to become the epicentre of a fried chicken sandwich fandom.
Chick-fil-A is no stranger to success, boasting over 3,000 locations globally. And it is thanks to its unique franchise model, empowering local owner-operators to build a culture of care within their communities. Now, locally-owned and operated restaurants—small business owners—aren’t just slinging sandwiches. Instead, they hope to create genuine connections while delivering that signature Chick-fil-A experience in the neighbourhoods they serve and giving back through initiatives such as the Shared Table food donation initiative—a successful programme that has already provided over 30 million meals across North America since its inception.
“We are thrilled to introduce Chick-fil-A to Singapore, bringing new jobs and opportunities as we support the local community,” said Hugh Park, head of Asia-Pacific operations at Chick-fil-A (Asia).

Above Chick-fil-A and The Food Bank Singapore
Chick-fil-A’s entrance in Asia was commemorated with a S$25,000 donation to The Food Bank Singapore, in support of local food assistance efforts. Chick-fil-A Bugis+ will also participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table programme, which redirects surplus food from the restaurant to beneficiaries of The Food Bank Singapore.
