The new online platform showcases signature dishes and drinks from Leading Nation’s dining establishments, from Wagyumafia to The Diplomat

Delivery is the new normal as long as Covid-19 is still around. Faced with frequently changing social distancing restrictions affecting their restaurant and bar operations, Leading Nation, the local restaurant group behind Wagyumafia, La Rambla and The Diplomat, has launched Alfred’s— a new one-stop-shop online platform where the latest offers from their portfolio are curated and showcased for ordering, just in time for the holidays.

As far as deliveries go, many local restaurant groups have had some practice over the last few months, as services such as Black Sheep Restaurants Go, Jia Everywhere, and recently-launched Date by Tate have raised the bar for ensuring fine-dining quality food reaches guests, who increasingly opt to stay at home. Alfred’s takes the delivery service one step further, as guests can not only order bespoke menus and sharing feasts from restaurants, but also reserve restaurant venues for future events as well as booking chef dining experiences.

Alfred’s curates selected menus from the group’s restaurants, from set menus for sharing to a la carte options. Notable highlights include Yakinikumafia’s Christmas home experience bundle menu for two as well as the restaurant’s celebrated wagyu garlic rice and keema curry; Morty’s honey-roasted ham and the diner’s holiday festive menu for six to eight people; as well as La Rambla’s tapas delivery such as truffle bikini, avocado lobster, and charcuterie platter; and Elephant Ground’s selection of home-made pastries such as mille feuille, 80s black forest gateau, and banoffee pie.

Guests can also order bottled cocktails designed and created by John Nugent of The Diplomat, including the bar’s popular Masa Punch, Negroni, and Gibson cocktail to be enjoyed at home. Beef-lovers can indulge in Wagyumafia’s butchery service, where guests can take their pick of the establishment’s celebrated Ozaki wagyu beef cuts from the online catalogue.

Besides online orders, Alfred’s also offer a chef-at-home dining experience, where guests can invite restaurant head chefs to design a menu for home entertaining. The line-up includes Ferran Tadeo of La Rambla, Yohei Yamamoto from Wagyumafia, as well as Chiba Hirofumi of Sushi Mamoru and Mickael Messina of French restaurant Kyle & Bain. Both Sushi Mamoru and Kyle & Bain are the group’s upcoming restaurants slated to open in 2021.

All online orders and deliveries can be placed on Alfred’s official website. The group also showcases a selection of its offerings and services on display at the Alfred’s pop-up store in Central’s Jardine House, available from December 10, 2020 to February 28, 2021.
