This classic Vietnamese beef broth noodle is an un-pho-gettable delight, thanks to its simplicity and great taste
Long white noodles, submerged in a hot bone broth, accompanied with slices of beef, bean sprouts and other vegetables. Pho is the national dish of Vietnam but has gained quite a devoted following right here in Malaysia too.
This street food staple was introduced to the rest of the world by refugees after the Vietnam War, and soon grew in popularity. It's comfort food that is satisfying, especially on a cold, rainy evening. Here are five places in the Klang Valley for an un-pho-gettable experience.

1. Super Saigon
Quality is a priority at this cosmopolitan chain of restaurants, which is inspired by Vietnamese eateries in Melbourne and Ho Chi Minh City. Super Saigon prides itself on using fresh herbs and imported Australian premium beef and chicken cuts. A. big reason for their pho's tastiness lies in the soup, which is boiled continuously for over eight hours to achieve rich flavour.

This award-winning restaurant frequently appears on the lists of top Vietnamese finds in the Klang Valley, and for good reason. Many love it for its pop-art décor but it is their Beef Pho, complemented with a broth that is cooked up to 10 hours, that keeps them coming back for more.

5. Gold Standard Pho
When it comes to quality, this restaurant lives up to its name. The beef balls are made by hand by their Vietnamese chef who is fastidious about getting every detail right. For one, each new batch of broth must receive the approval of multiple people before it is served. We recommend the Rare Beef Pho featuring Australian ribeye steak. There is also a vegetarian option with Bunashimeji mushrooms, tofu, carrot, broccoli, pak choy, and cauliflower.
