Romantic fine dining with an edge set to unrivalled views of the Hong Kong skyline and exquisite cooking

Tatler Says

The unapologetically futuristic Felix was undoubtedly a divisive topic when it first opened in 1994 atop The Peninsula’s shiny new office tower, and it remains so even today—although famed designer Philippe Starck has the last laugh, with the dining institution broaching its 28th anniversary this year. Chef Juan Gomez helms the kitchen with his contemporary globe-trotting approach, with seafood at the fore. Highlights include the punchy lobster bisque with blue lobster ravioli, and butter-poached halibut with creamy plankton rice, though portions tend to be on the smaller side. Whether you go for the food, the views, or the design, Felix remains an utterly unique offering in Hong Kong’s crowded dining scene.

Signature Dishes

  • Hokkaido scallop, finger lime, mango, caviar, asparagus
  • Blue lobster “Caldereta” saffron aioli, cockles, Spanish potato

Tatler Tip

It goes without saying that you should request a harbour-facing table when making a reservation.
