Get your boozy fix even while practising social distancing throughout the month

This story was updated on May 12, 2020

With the “circuit breaker” measures in place until June 1, we must stay at home to prevent the further spread of coronavirus. Non-essential businesses are closed for a month, and yes, that includes your favourite wine bars and merchants. However, that doesn’t mean we’ll have to settle for a dry month, as they’re offering our favourite pours for delivery. Cheers to that!

1. Vinomofo

The members’ only wine store is home to a bevy of well-curated bottles, which co-founder (and self-confessed wine nerd) Justin Dry and team source directly from the best wine producers across the globe. Without the middleman (aka importers), most of their offerings are on the affordable range.

For example, the Gran Enemigo Gualtallary Cabernet Franc 2014, which wine critic James Suckling praises as a “rich and glorious wine” retails for $109 only. There are regular special offers, too, including the Black Market Deal, which highlights a bottle (without revealing the brand) for a very special price. Orders can be placed online. Check out the wines here.
