Perk up your in-house Happy Hour with delicious tipples from your favourite watering holes in Singapore. As the nation practises a month of government-mandated social distancing, these bars are busy coming up with the best ways to get their handcrafted concoctions delivered to your doorstep.

1. Kiki's Reserve

Kiki's Reserve is one of the latest cocktail delivery services, brought to thirsty tipplers by the folks behind Hopheads Bar and The Oyster Bank. Choose from six different cocktail options, from the classics like an Old Fashioned to an Espresso Martini—all readily available in two sizes, 120ml or 480ml. You can also opt to customise your own tipple by providing Kiki and her team with your flavour and alcohol preferences. 

Most recently, the team at Kiki teamed up with French Champagne house Veuve Clicquot to launch an exclusive cocktail set to amp up your homebound celebrations. Each set comes with a bottle of bubbly with a personalised message inscribed on it, a 480ml bottle of Kiki's delicious cocktails, as well as Veuve Clicquot acrylic glasses to cheers the night away. 

2. Jekyll and Hyde

Great news for those who can't get enough of Jekyll and Hyde's signature tipples, the bar is now taking orders to indulge your cocktail cravings. All orders are scheduled to be delivered on Friday afternoons, with new drinks to look forward to every week. Now on the menu are its Chocolate Espresso Martini (240ml), Sakura Spring (240ml) and a Lychee Martini (850ml), along with its mainstay, Mr. Bean (180ml).

3. Native

Ranked No.12 on last year's World's 50 Best Bars list, Native never ceases to impress with its unique philosophy of combining foraged and Asian-centric ingredients in their cocktails. With its delivery service up and running, you can now enjoy four handcrafted tipples at home, anytime you feel like raising a glass to the weekend.

Can't decide which to get? Well, take note that the Pineapple Arrack makes use of aromatic Sri Lankan spices, while the Peranakan comes with a piece of delicious kueh salat on the side, made especially by the Michelin-starred restaurant, Candlenut. Native's Forager's Garden makes use of a splash of matcha kombucha, while the vibrant hue of the Hibiscus will add colour to your day in more ways than one.

4. Employees Only

Pair your dinner with a selection of stiff cocktails from Employees Only, as the bar moves its menu online. Available in 350ml or 700ml pours, choose from eight of their ever-popular signatures, including the EO Gimlet, which features Perry's Tot Navy Strength gin as the base, shaken with their house-made lime cordial. An Aperol Spritz and spirit mixer DIY kit is also available for those who wish to freshen up their bartending skills.

5. Atlas

As the nation hunkers down together during this battle to contain the covid-19 pandemic, why not gift your closest buddies with a handcrafted cocktail flight? Each flight comprises three signature tipples—the Atlas Martini, Atlas Negroni and Urban Pioneer—each packing a different punch. Aspiring bartenders will also be pleased to find a curated kit of bartending tools for them to start crafting their own drinks. For ease, each set comes with either whiskey or gin as an alcohol base.

6. Manhattan

Regulars of Manhattan will be pleased to sip on their sophisticated tipples at home, as the bar is now offering takeaway and delivery services. Choose from eleven drinks bottled at 100ml each, or opt for their all-time favourite, The Manhattan, at 350ml. A five-bottle cocktail set is also available if you're craving more variation.  

7. Drink Easy

Handcrafted by Boo Jing Heng, Diageo World Class 2016 Singapore Winner and co-owner of Revamp Kitchen and Bar, Drink Easy is the city's latest option for tipplers to get their cocktail fix any day of the week. And you only need to choose between the No.1 and No.2. The former is a concoction of gin, vermouth, Campari and Cointreau, while the latter is similar but features instead a whisky base. Garnish as you wish with ingredients that you have at home, and voila, you've got a delicious custom cocktail. You can pick up your orders from Revamp or have it delivered anywhere on the island.

8. 28 HongKong Street

Don't let staying in hinder weekend plans with friends, as the folks at 28 HongKong Street have come up with the perfect kit to keep the party going—tipples, food and virtual company included. Choose three of their seven bottled cocktails available, each crafted to suit various rhythms of the night, and savour a selection of bites from their menu including their Truffle Mac N' Cheese Balls and Apple Fritters with bourbon cream. To complete the house party experience, you will also be able to access the establishment's specially curated Spotify music playlist and communicate with 28's bar family via Zoom as they share more about each cocktail. 

9. The Old Man Singapore

Ranked No. 38 on last year's World's 50 Best Bars list, The Old Man Singapore promises a series of seven highly creative yet delectable cocktails for all to sip on throughout the week. Made with Capra fat-washed applejack and curry leaf infused Bulldog gin, The Sun Also Rises #1926 provides a brilliant blend of local flavours. For those wishing for a modern take on an Old Fashioned, the bar's clear version uses whisky, bitters and grapefruit zest, resulting in a tipple that is every bit as delicious as it is aesthetically pleasing.

10. The Secret Mermaid Bar

Savour signature cocktails from The Secret Mermaid Bar as they now deliver island-wide to satiate your cocktail cravings at home. Newest additions to the menu include the Mezcal Aviation, which is a blend of mezcal, violet liqueur, maraschino liqueur and squeeze of lemon, as well as its Mint Milo concoction, featuring vodka infused with morrocan mint tea, stirred in with milo and chocolate bitters. The bar is also taking orders for bespoke creations, while all tipples will be sufficient for two servings each. 

11. Nutmeg and Clove

Award-winning bar Nutmeg and Clove have provided avid tipplers with four bottled cocktail choices to choose from, namely the CC Martini, Godfather Going Bananas, Ramos & Roses, as well as My Highball Is Better Than Yours. The bar is currently taking part in the 1887 Virtual Bar platform, where a stellar line-up of bartenders will be hosting virtual guest shifts from which customers can support simply by purchasing cocktail vouchers online.

12. Tippling Club

If you're located within a 3km radius of the Tippling Club, look forward to having your handcrafted drinks delivered by one of the team's members who will arrive at your doorstep on their specially designed bicycles. Current cocktail takeaway options include eight tipples from their "Guide To Modern Drinking" menu and 11 all-time classic drinks, each available in 220ml or 400ml bottles.

13. Jigger & Pony

Jigger & Pony leaves homebound tipplers spoiled for choice with 30 outstanding concoctions to choose from, ranging from stalwart drinks to creative punch bowls to be shared over a virtual party. Take your weekends up a notch with the King Ferdinand Punch Bowl, which will be divided and delivered to your inner circle of four, or indulge in the bar's three-part Highball Series which comes with a bottle of Fever Tree Tonic Water on the side. 

For those who prefer to skip the alcohol, the Arnold Palmer and Virgin Lobster Bloody Mary—that's right, it comes with a side of lobster tail—are equally fantastic to enjoy.

14. Compendium

Homegrown distillery Compendium has come up with a series of three cocktail sets, each packed full of local flavour. Inspired by the city's hawker culture, the Kopitiam Set comes with a bottle of Rum-based Kopi-O and Teh-O Liqueur to provide that extra kick on slow mornings, while the Rojak Gin comes with a smaller bottle of Campari, Coffee Vermouth and two signature cocktail recipes from their bar experts. For a twist on local desserts, try the Chendol Gin set as it comes with a smaller bottle of fruity sling mix, angostura bitters, a varied selection of juices and two recipes for you to shake up your very own Chendol Sling and Kampung Fizz. 

15. Junior The Pocket Bar

The much-loved watering hole has a habit of switching up its cocktail takeaway menu weekly, each reflecting the vibrant tastes and cultures of various regions in the world. This week, it looks towards the city of New Orleans. Characteristically defined by its great food and of course, music, guests can look forward to quality drinks for as they get a taste of The Big Easy with seven options to savour, each bottled at 700ml for more servings. Be sure not to skip the Cajun Bloody Mary for a drink with a spicy kick, while the Truffled Sazerac is a sophisticated blend of Pierre Ferrand Chestnut Barrel Brandy, Rye Whisky, and truffle bitters. 

16. Brass Lion Distillery

In an effort to aid their community, the folks at Brass Lion Distillery have stepped up to work with some of our favourite bars in town to tide them through this trying time. With an increasing number of establishments having their cocktails to-go, the distillery has been providing participating bars with bottling services, with all profits returned to them in full. Thus far, the initiative has seen the participation of Bee's Island Drinkery, IB HQ, as well as Smoke and Mirrors, who have each produced cocktails such as the Lavender Negroni, Merlion Spritz, and Bergamot and Gimlet (Lion Edition), respectively. 

The distillery has also come up with a beautiful Circuit Breaker Survival Kit to help enthusiastic tipplers craft their own drinks and hone their bartending skills while staying home. Each kit also comes equipped with a bottle of Singapore Dry Gin (200ml), two drink mixers, and recipes for you to get started.

17. Jim Thompson A Thai Restaurant

Have a taste of Thailand through Jim Thompson's array of cocktails, now available for pickup or delivery. Popular for its complex and balanced flavours, with hints of smokiness, is the signature Bangkok Bloody Mary. It's crafted with Stolichnaya vodka infused with chilli, Nam Jim Jeaw (spicy dipping sauce) sourced from the Isan province of Northeast Thailand, fresh lime and tomato juices, and spices. For a drink that's closer to home, the team has also created its version of Singapore Sling; it's a classic concoction of Beefeater gin, cherry brandy, pineapple juice and Grenadine syrup that's packed with robust and well-balanced flavours.

18. Mo Bar

Missed going to your regular after-work haunt? The team is bringing their inspired drinks right to your doorstep. Most of the signatures are available on the delivery menu, including the classic Negroni, concocted with gin, Campari and sweet Vermouth, and the Boulevardier, a potent mix of bourbon, Campari and sweet Vermouth.

Turn up your TGIF celebration at home with cocktails for everyone, and D.Bespoke’s head bartender Daiki Kanetaka has curated the Bottled Classic Cocktail Series, comprising five of the bar’s best-sellers. If you prefer whisky-based drinks, go for the Manhattan or Boulevardier; both are made extra potent with the Maker’s Mark Bourbon whiskey. Gibson is bringing the bar experience to your home with its Bottled Cocktails Series, available through the Jigger & Pony group's online menu. Its namesake cocktail was created with the Japanese ethos of simplicity and perfection in mind. It continues to be a hot favourite for its dry and umami flavours, thanks to its perfect balance of Hendrick’s gin and homemade Ginjo sake-vermouth.
