The best wines are typically brought out on special occasions, but for French winery Château Angélus and its restaurant the Logis de la Cadène, every day is a cause for celebration.

Come January 21, food and wine aficionados will have the opportunity to experience the winery’s elegant variety at E18teen Inspired Cuisine, Resorts World Genting. Owned by eight generations of family, Château Angélus -- now helmed by Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoalm -- is renowned for combining traditional methods with modern innovation, to yield robust wines and vintages.

To match a flight of exquisite wines, the restaurant presents a signature menu crafted by the head chef of Logis de la de la Cadène, Alexandre Baumard, which starts off with Périgord truffles, the rare ‘black diamonds’ of French truffle, in a Parmesan risotto.

Following that is a family-style stew of foie gras in ravioli with vegetable pot au feu. On a lighter note next is scallops with cabbage, flowers, greens and oranges, before the grand entrance of hen pheasant stuffed with foie gras and melanosporum truffles, accompanied with vegetables and wine sauce infused with foie gras.

The menu culminates with a beautiful dessert of cocoa mousse, with a heart of guanaja and tonka bean ice cream within a chocolate tart, created by the restaurant's pastry chef Danuen Amillien.

The exclusive one-night only wine pairing menu is priced at RM1,388 nett per person.
