The exhibition, based on the whisky house’s newest travel retail exclusive, is part of a global tour across London, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Dubai
Come October 7 to 11, the fourth level of the Artscience Museum will be bedecked with beguiling artworks and enchanting whisky expressions. To celebrate the whisky house’s newest travel retail exclusive range, the Colour Collection, The Macallan has pulled on internationally-acclaimed artist, graphic designer, and brand partner David Carson to present a travelling, interactive exhibition across London, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Dubai and Singapore. Inspired by the artistry of the whisky maturation process at The Macallan, the exhibition is perfect for both aficionados hoping to learn more about The Macallan, as well as seasoned connoisseurs who are on the hunt for something unique.

As you are guided throughout the exhibition you’ll find Carson’s eclectic art pieces like the Time Tunnel, which walks you through the house’s meticulous maturation process of whisky. Or be stunned with the Exploration of Colours, an immersive augmented reality experience. Of course, the exhibition is not complete without tasting the whisky that inspired it all—you can choose to have a canapé and whisky pairing, or indulge in a cocktail curated with whiskies from The Colour Collection.

Presenting five exceptional age statement single-malt whiskies from 12 Years Old to 30 Years Old, The Colour Collection honours the house’s craftsmanship of its sherry-seasoned oak casks and its resulting natural tones of the whiskies. Carson has also designed the packaging for the bottles in the collection, which are inspired by the natural beauty of Jerez, Spain, the historic city of sherry production where The Macallan’s sherry-seasoned oak casks are made before they are shipped to Scotland.
Besides the exhibition at the Artscience Museum, don't forget to head down to The Macallan Colour Collection pop-up at the Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall. Travellers hoping to taste the new whiskies in the new collection can also purchase them at Lotte Duty Free stores in Changi Airport.
